Grand Hotel Campione presents the exhibition from Boguszak Water Dunes: Born – Digital Dreamscapes from July 14 to December 31-2022. The multi-award-winning artist ( b. 1952 ) metamorphoses his dune photographs into improbable liquid topographies.
These born-digital artifacts encoded on sophisticated software emerge from his unconscious through elaborated post-prodution processes. The curatorial concept unfords Boguszak’s colorful universe through the hotel’s anatomy opening a discursive space in its architectural skin where photographs turned into subjective projetions dialogue with Lake Lugano through the windows.
In contrast to its initial documentary function, photography became, in the hands of Buguszak, a means of expression conveyng outstanding emotional depth.
